Ceiling Mount

Safety Instructions

General Use

• The baby hammock is not a toy or play equipment.
• It is exclusively for calming and sleeping babies.
• Suitable up to max. 15 kg body weight (approx. 2–2.5 years).
• Read the operating instructions completely before first use.

Use by the child

• Discontinue use immediately as soon as the child can sit, kneel, or pull themselves up.
• Do not place additional objects (toys, pillows, blankets, etc.) in the baby hammock.
• A baby hammock does not replace a bed or a suitable sleeping place for the night.

Supervision Obligation

• Children must never be left unattended in the baby hammock.
• Siblings or pets must not play unattended near the baby hammock.
• Excessive swinging or pushing by other children must be strictly avoided.

Suspension & Assembly

• While a swivel hook is recommended by Lottili, it is not included in the scope of delivery and must not be used if a motor is installed.
• Before each use, check that all components are properly attached and intact.
• Regularly check the load-bearing capacity of the eye bolt.
• The baby hammock must not be used if there are defects or missing parts.
• Only use original spare parts and accessories (frame, door frame clamp, spring, safety rope).
• The special spring must never be used without a safety rope.
• The safety rope must always be correctly fastened above and below the spring and be freely movable.
• For ceiling mounting: hang max. 40 cm above the floor.
• Loose ends of the extension chain must be secured.
• The straps on the wooden bar must be secured with a double knot and must not be reachable by children.
• Securely store the link chain before each use and check for correct fit.

Environment

• Always allow sufficient space so that the baby hammock does not hit furniture or walls.
• Only suitable for indoor use and dry environments.
• Never use outdoors overnight.
• Do not hang near open flames, radiant heaters, gas ovens, or other heat sources.
• Uneven surfaces or slippery floors can impair the safety of the frame – only use on a level surface.

Risks & Hazard Avoidance

• Avoid excessive swinging (risk of injury from hitting furniture or walls).
• Small components (carabiners, etc.) are small parts that can be swallowed – never leave them lying around loosely.
• Hanging cradles pose risks if other children use them improperly as a swing.
