Important information on using the hanging chair
Mount only on stable ceilings!
Suitable ceilings include concrete ceilings or solid wooden beams. Plasterboard or suspended ceilings are not suitable.-
Observe maximum load
The hanging chair is designed for a weight of up to 80 kg. This limit must not be exceeded. -
Use only suitable and secure fastenings
Installation with high-quality dowels and hooks is recommended. If in doubt, a specialist company should be consulted. -
Not a play device
Please do not swing, jump or spin vigorously. There is an increased risk of falls and injuries. -
Use only under supervision
Children, in particular, should not use the hanging chair unsupervised. -
Maintain sufficient distance
A clearance of at least 1 m from walls and furniture should be maintained around the hanging chair. -
Soft base recommended
For example, a carpet or play mat under the hanging chair.
Suitable ceiling hook required
Only a rotatable ceiling hook should be used that is either lubricated or has an integrated plastic plain bearing. This prevents metal-on-metal rubbing under load.
Important
Use without a suitable, lubricated, rotatable ceiling hook can lead to material damage.
Do not use additional springs
Additional springs or similar elements must not be installed, as they increase tension and material stress and can damage the fabric.
Regular inspection
Hooks, suspension, ropes, and fabrics should be regularly inspected for wear, damage, or loose parts.
