Care instructions

• Cradle bag: Washable at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Can be carefully ironed. Caution: untreated cotton can shrink up to 10% on the first wash. Do not tumble dry.
• Mattress (cotton with synthetic fiber filling): Remove from the mattress pocket before washing. Washable up to 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Easy to care for and particularly suitable for everyday use with babies. Complies with standard EN-16890:2017 for baby mattresses – tested according to the highest safety standards.
• General care:
  Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Regularly check all textiles for damage and wear. Replace damaged or heavily worn fabric parts immediately (spare parts available).

Safety instructions

General use

• The spring cradle is not a toy or gymnastic equipment.
• It is exclusively for soothing and sleeping babies.
• Suitable up to max. 15 kg body weight (approx. 2–2.5 years).
• Read the operating instructions completely before first use.

Use by the child

• Stop use immediately as soon as the child can sit, kneel, or pull themselves up.
• Do not place additional objects (toys, pillows, blankets, etc.) in the spring cradle.
• A spring cradle is not a substitute for a bed or a suitable sleeping place for the night.

Supervision

• Children must never be left unattended in the spring cradle.
• Siblings or pets must not play unsupervised near the spring cradle.
• Excessive rocking or pushing by other children must be strictly avoided.

Suspension & Assembly

• A swivel is recommended by Lottili, but is not included in the scope of delivery and must not be used if a motor is installed.
• Before each use, check that all components are properly secured and intact.
• Regularly check the load-bearing capacity of the eye screw.
• The spring cradle must not be used if there are defects or missing parts.
• Only use original spare parts and accessories (frame, door frame clamp, spring, safety rope).
• The special spring must never be used without a safety rope.
• The safety rope must always be correctly attached above and below the spring and be freely movable.
• For ceiling mounting: hang max. 40 cm above the floor.
• Loose ends of the extension chain must be secured.
• Bands on the wooden rod must be secured with a double knot and must not be accessible to children.
• Securely store the link chain before each use and check for correct fit.

Environment

• Always allow sufficient clear space so that the spring cradle does not hit furniture or walls.
• Only suitable for indoor use and dry environments.
• Never use outdoors overnight.
• Do not hang near open flames, radiant heaters, gas stoves, or other heat sources.
• Uneven surfaces or slippery floors can affect the safety of the frame – only use on a level surface.

Risks & Hazard Avoidance

• Avoid excessive vibrations (risk of injury from bumping into furniture or walls).
• Small components (carabiners, etc.) are small parts that can be swallowed – never leave them lying around loosely.
• Hanging cradles pose risks if other children use them improperly as swings.
